Just was looking at sites and came across little Elijah. site. while reading it on what had happened I could not stop crying. I have 3 sons my self and 3 grandsons my 4 year old grand son sucks his thumb and if anyone was to ever yell at him or touch him I would go Nuts. Elijah I hope you're Mom's Boy friend rots in hell and while in Prison he gets torchard everyday he is in there. I don't hope for death penilty because that would be to easy for him I just hope that everyday he is awake he gets beaten,raped, his teeth busted in .In Prison the big boys don't put up with Children killers so he will suffer. And as for you're Mother  I hope for the same for her in sides BE RIPPED  out so she could never have another child they both should be tied to horses and pulled apart slowley. "My Elijah"  / Darlene Darlene (My Elijah )
I am grieved for Elijah Simpson.  I have a grandson named Elijah Pitts who was abused in some of the same ways as Elijah Simpson.  This story brought me to tears and I thank God daily that he chose to save "My Elijah".  Words cannot express the grief I feel for Elijah Simpson.  This world is full of evil people and our children/grandchildren must be protected.  I went to court Friday over my grandson Elijah Pitts.  I have had custody of him for over a year now and he is safe, healing and happy today.  It took alot to save "My Elijah" and I am still praying and working on it every day.   I know God has a reason but sometimes it is just hard to imagine how people can be so heartless, cold and not caring about something as innocent as a child.  I love "My Elijah" more than words can express.  I would love to work with anyone who is working on "saving" our kids as a volunteer.  Please contact me and if there is anything I can do - I will help.  Using the story of "My Elijah" is also a way to telll how traumatic and horrific this is.  My Elijah was beat and anything else you can imagine and the evil person walked free with only 3 years probation and a no contact order - that is it!  Why because "My Elijah" is too traumatized to testify in same room with the person who beat him, raped him and threatened repeated to kill him with scissors.

My heart is simply broken but I am thankful every day "My Elijah" is with me.  I cherrish his every smile, giggle and even fit throwing sometimes.  I just simply LOVE him so much and will never take his little life for granite.

May God be with all these children and May God give us the tools we need to fight for justice for them.  This system is broken and we somehow need to start fixing it.  Close

I was passing on the site and came across Elijah's memorial page. What a beautiful little boy he was and the circumstance of his passing is heartbreaking. It's hard to distinguish what a person could really be thinking when carrying out such a horrendous act - especially to a child. My thoughts go out to Elijah's extended family who may have been unaware of his suffering.
I lost my cousin on March 25, 2007 and I still am grieving, so I can only imagine what the family are enduring at the moment. Hopefully justice will prevail and keep Elijah's memories fresh and alive.

Heaven is full of tiny Angels that were taken much to soon at the hands of others. It is so easy to say Elijah is in a better place and he hurts no more. That is thankfully true, but he should have had the opportunity to make that move at much older age and from natural causes. 

I also lost a two year old granddaughter to murder. Her Daddy was away fighting for our country in Iraq while she was here fighting for her life. The stepfather is in jail and the mother is waiting trial.

I will never understand how a mother can sit by and allow her child to be harmed. Animals in the wild have better instincts than that.

I came across this precious boy's site the protected to death by CPS site. I was lighting a candle for another child Kelsey Briggs, who died also as a result of child abuse in 2005. I am very saddened by this story and will never understand why this type of thing happens to our most vulnerable group of people. As a member of Kelsey's Purpose we are bringing more awareness to child abuse and neglect, and trying to figure out ways to make things better for children.
