It breaks my heart when I hear of the violence against Gods littlest Angels. My heart goes out to his family and friends that loved him so. Domestic violence is bad enough, I know I have been through it but no one should allow anyone to hurt their children NO EXCUSE! The mother should have gotten out the first time he touched them! She deserves to suffer in jail, I have no pity for her. 

May he rest in peace and in Gods hands...very sad too often this happens and these are gods precious angels! Close

To those who grieve and love little Elijah....What a tragedy!!!  I sincerely offer my condolences and prayers to you. You surely can envision the death of God's own son and what he must have suffered.  There are so many things that can be said & questions to ask, however, I want to focus on  the beautiful and sure hope for the  future given to us through his Word.  I write  because I want to share in what was shared with me when my son died. Words of comfort and encouragement for I know how it benefited me.  For example in Revelation  21:4 it reads:  "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.  The former things have passed away."  Now death does not occur in heaven so this promise is for the earth.  Can you imagine death itself passing away!  Verse 5 goes on to say, "And the One seated on the throne said:  Look! I am making all things new." Also, he says: "Write because these words are faithful and true." Yes, our Almighty God (Psalms 83:18) promises, yes guarantees by putting it in writing.  It gives us the expectation of a bright and beautiful future when we will be with our loved ones again (Psalms 37:11).  In the Gospel book of John chapter 11 Jesus shares his story about the death of his friend Lazarus.  In part it reads that "he gave way to tears." (John 11:35) when he heard his friend Lazarus had died, although he had the power to resurrect him and later did.  Jesus said a prayer to his Father (John 11:41,42).  Then said (verse 43), "Lazarus, come on out!" Lazarus came out of his memorial tomb alive after having died 4 days earlier.  Jesus certainly understands your loss and will awaken Elijah as Jesus also expresses in John 5:28, "Do not marvel at this, the hour is coming in which all those in their memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."  What a joy to look forward to!..to see little Elijah running towards you arms out-stretched! For now your happy memories of little Elijah, the little boy who shared his love with you is to be cherished.  "When Someone You Love Dies" is a free brochure you may request from any one of Jehovah's Witnesses.  This brochure is a wonderful source of information to read along with your Bible of the sure hope for a bright future.  In fact it begins with the true story of  a child lost to death.  It can help all those who are griveing to understand and deal with the feelings and emotions that surface following the death of a loved one.  And a section of the brochure discusses how others can help ones who are grieving.  The brochure answers such questions as:  How can I live with my grief?  It presents the Bible's explanation of death and the condition of those who have died.  And even more important, it highlights God's promises through Jesus Christ  of a resurrection to life on a cleansed, paradise earth without the existence of evilness which we sigh and groan (Romans 8:22)  over today. (Psalms 37:10 and 29)  Please read these scriptures so you too can be comforted and encouraged by them for they were written with holy spirit.  May God's loving-kindness and peace be with you.

a gift from god that we must protect i am a mother of four and it is hard for me as a mother when my children are hurt or sick i cant imagine letting a person hurt my child i would have to be dead before that would happen this page broke my heart people lose thier children to illnesses and accidents and the parents can hardley move on if they do but to lose such a beautiful baby boy for no reason one thing that puts me at ease is now he is not being hurt everyday without anyone there to protect him he has been taken from that horrible life and is now happy with jesus his father i will keep him in my prayers  and his brother why cant people give their children to some one that will love them if they wont and then this would not have happened i hpe justice is served ! I must say I had not heard of Elijah's story.  I came to this site to pay tribute to a precious baby who was lost to illness in CA and I saw Elijah's photo.    Somethings like this just can't be explained.
A sweet child in a nearby town was just 6 years old when she was chased into the street and shot in the face and killed by "someone the mother knew"  this monster is in jail, but only received 2nd degree murder.   Sometimes I just don't understand, WHY people who, plainly do not deserve to have children, why does God give them this precious gift?  There are so many who would just love and nurture and cherish a child.  My heart aches at what this little boy went through in his last moments on this earth.  I am glad he now safe.

Sweet Angel, How sad a voice could not be found in time. I am the mom to a little boy beaten by the woman that gave him life.
I see this sweet face and kiss my son knowing that if I had not fought he would have died. This must stop. I dont see how a woman could hurt or let anyone hurt her child.  How do you look at a face this sweet and do the things you do. How can you stand the look of fear  and hurt and not feel your heartbreak.
The memory of my son's beaten body and the sadness in his eyes will haunt me forever. Thank God he has forgotten and now has bright blue eyes and a smile. But I will never forget

When i came across this story of Elijah is just broke my heart to know that he had to suffer abuse like that.  It breaks my heart to read how he died and to think of all the other times he had to suffer abuse.  There aren't enough excuses in the world that can explain why a parent would let anyone abuse her children. If we live in america then i am sure that we know the number "911". Elijah i am glad that God deliver you from the hands of your abuser. I also pray for justice.  Although I  may not ever comprehend or understand why Elijah mother allowed this to go on  until it became fatal i still pray for God's mercy to help her deal with the guilt and shame that she will indeed endure.  I pray for her because in-spite-of all what she allowed until Elijah took his last breath he loved his mom.  That's how innocent and reliable a child is.  Even when you hurt them and they don't understand they will still love you when they are at that age, so for the love that i am sure Elijah had for his mother i pray for God's grace and mercy to help her endure the quilt when she see and realize all the time and chances she could have taken to rescue her children.  Elijah you are free thank God from the abuse.
